This document should be as complete as possible and include elements such as the dedication, acknowledgments, introduction, and information about the author.
If possible, please follow these guidelines:
1. Times New Roman font, 12pt
2. Mirrored margins (under Page Layout; Top, Bottom and Outside 1”, Inside 1.25”)
3. Double-spaced
4. 0.5 inch indents at the beginning of each paragraph
5. 0pt spacing before and after each paragraph
6. No added page or line breaks, tabs, or spaces
Whether your book is fiction or nonfiction, we encourage authors to create a “study guide” or a “discussion guide.” Go through the chapters of your manuscript and write five to eight questions which readers can use in a small group. We encourage you to put these questions in a single place at the end of the book so it does not interrupt the flow of the content of your books. This study guide provides another marketing hook that you can use on the back cover of your book and also in all of your marketing efforts.
